Bannerman Decorators will celebrate a milestone 100th anniversary in 2021.

Brothers Ewan and Bruce Bannerman are the third generation to head-up a family firm which is among the oldest and most respected decorating firms in the country.

Founded in Meigle and Coupar Angus in 1921 by Gordon Bannerman, three of his sons followed their father into the business.

In 1962, Bill Bannerman established a presence in Perth and the business blossomed, progressing from a store in long-gone Paul Street and offices in Elibank Street to Marshall Place and Fairies Road, before 1987 heralded the opening of their high profile base in the city's Dunkeld Road.

Bannerman's Colour Studio was created in 1981, selling paint, wallcoverings and decorating products to the general public and the painting trade - complementing the acknowledged expertise of Bannerman Decorators.

In 1988 our Dundee branch was established to meet the demands of the decorating trade in Dundee, Fife and Angus.
